A top-rated Level 1 Trauma Center in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon with Surgical Critical Care fellowship training for locum coverage beginning immediately.

This is a high-acuity, high-volume trauma position for a skilled and confident trauma surgeon ready to join a respected team and deliver exceptional care.

Schedule & Details :

Start Date : ASAP (Credentialing in days with active CT license)

Weekdays : Monday Friday 7 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM

Call : 3 weeknights (4 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM) + 24-hour weekend call (Sat / Sun 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM)

Setting : Hospital-based

Patient Population : Primarily adults and geriatrics; occasional pediatric / adolescent cases

Trauma Level : Level 1

Beds : 617

EMR : Epic

Required Procedures & Experience :

Management of blunt and penetrating trauma (adult + geriatric)

Chest tube insertion

Laparoscopic procedures :

Appendectomy

Cholecystectomy

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified in Surgery & Surgical Critical Care Required

Fellowship-Trained in Trauma / Surgical Critical Care Required

Active CT Medical License Required

DEA Verbal confirmation required at name clear

ACLS Required
