About the Role : As a Food Service Utility Worker, you will perform essential support tasks that contribute to the overall operation of the kitchen. This role focuses on cleaning, organization, and basic food preparation, ensuring that our culinary team can deliver top-notch service without the primary responsibility of cooking.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cleaning and Sanitation :

Wash worktables, walls, and food preparation surfaces.

Remove trash and clean garbage cans to adhere to safety and sanitation standards.

Transport supplies and equipment to and from storage areas.

Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.

Operate manual or electric appliances for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming foods.

Assist with setting up banquet tables and perform other supportive tasks as needed by the kitchen staff.

Qualifications and Skills :

This is an entry-level role with training provided for all new hires.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.

Essential for maintaining cleanliness and following food safety guidelines.

A collaborative spirit and willingness to work effectively with fellow kitchen staff.

A foundational understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is beneficial.
