What this job involves :
As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will hold a critical position within our Southeast Team and will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects for a financial services client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of projects (4 to 8 projects at one time), from the initial planning and due diligence phases through design and construction, while utilizing your expertise and skills to oversee projects and ensure the successful delivery of Corporate Interior large scale projects with capex experience greater than $10M. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management will be instrumental in driving project success while managing and overseeing all aspects of projects, including strategy, programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, procurement, permitting, execution and close out.
What your day-to-day will look like :
- Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, including strategy, programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, procurement, permitting, execution and close out
- Develop high level estimates and schedules as part of the overall strategy and business case
- Prepare project updates, identifying and communicating risks early, while providing solutions to meet client driven schedule and budget
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Act as the primary contact with the client throughout the duration of the project from programming through construction close out
- Develop Master Project schedules and manage project performance against schedules, milestones and critical path items on multiple projects
- Develop detailed project budgets based on historical and market data with clearly defined budget assumptions
- Guide client and team through design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation and signoff
- Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff and stakeholders
- Prepare RFPs for design and contractor services and manage the overall vendor selection process
- Read construction plans efficiently, finding potential areas of concern or hidden costs prior to GC contract execution
Required Qualifications :
7-15 years of experience in project management, preferably in Corporate InteriorsExperience in managing multiple diverse types of Corporate Interiors projects, varying from $10M to $100M+ in sizeAbility to manage 8-12 projects at a timeFirm knowledge of construction, architecture, or commercial real estate industryProven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completionStrong leadership and communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office ProductsPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related field : Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.Experience with financial services clients and Corporate Interior projectsUnderstanding of strategy, programming, design, entitlements, bidding, procurement, and permitting processesExperience with due diligence efforts and documentation requirementsKnowledge of vendor selection and management processesUnderstanding of regulatory compliance and contractual requirementsExperience developing and implementing project management strategies and methodologiesAbility to leverage innovative ways of working to enhance efficiency and productivityExperience with construction plan reading and cost identificationLocation : Onsite Tampa, FL
