Job Overview :

A prominent international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its Trademark & Copyright Practice Group . This is a full-time, in-office position ideal for attorneys with at least 5 years of experience in intellectual property law, particularly in trademark prosecution, TTAB litigation, anti-counterfeiting strategies, and global brand protection. The role offers the chance to work with industry-leading clients on sophisticated matters and contribute to a top-tier team recognized nationally for its IP excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Handle U.S. and international trademark prosecution and portfolio management
  • Represent clients in TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings
  • Develop and lead anti-counterfeiting and enforcement programs globally
  • Advise clients on brand strategy, trademark clearance, and IP protection
  • Draft and negotiate trademark and copyright licensing and coexistence agreements
  • Conduct IP due diligence for transactions and risk assessments for brand launches
  • Provide copyright counsel on registration, enforcement, and litigation support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to align IP strategy with client goals

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of direct experience in trademark and copyright law
  • Significant TTAB experience and familiarity with international IP enforcement
  • Proven ability to manage complex trademark portfolios
  • Experience working with global companies and cross-border IP issues

    • Education :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Strong academic performance preferred

    • Certifications :

  • Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Must be eligible for admission in the office location selected

    • Skills :

  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills
  • Strong critical thinking and client advisory capabilities
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple projects and deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in trademark docketing and IP management systems is a plus
