WHAT WE NEED : IT Director
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the organization's information technology infrastructure and systems. Leads a team of IT professionals and works closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation and strategic alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives. Managing IT projects, developing and implementing technology strategies, and ensuring the security and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the organization's overall IT strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for technological advancements and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish technology priorities and allocate resources effectively.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the IT department, ensuring reliable and secure technology services.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and telecommunications systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary measures to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop training and development programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the IT team.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies, procedures, and practices to protect the organization's data and systems from internal and external threats.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry's best practices.
- Lead and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and resolving issues or conflicts.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of network architecture, virtualization, and modern data center operations.Hands-on experience with Windows Server Management.Hands-on experience with Network and Firewall Management.Understanding of cabling best practices.Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile).Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Deltek, Unanet) common in engineering.WHO WE NEED :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies, including network architecture, security protocols, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.Solid understanding of IT security best practices and compliance standards.Extensive experience in information technology management, with a proven track record of leading successful IT initiatives.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and technology road mapping.Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and make sound decisions.WHO WE ARE :
