Technician

We are seeking a skilled Technician to assist with the installation and repair of electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing in portable buildings. The role requires proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to accurately use a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and refurbishment of modular buildings and containers.
• Conduct framing and finish carpentry tasks.
• Handle electrical, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, and running gear repairs.
• Build modular trailers, measure and cut baseboards, and tear out carpets.
• Clean floors using a polisher and install doors.
• Work with AC units and ensure quality maintenance.

Work Environment

The role involves physical demands such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds. The work schedule includes weekends and overtime, with shifts currently from 6AM-4 : 30PM, normally 7AM-3 : 30PM. Work takes place in the yard and covered areas, focusing on repairing modular offices for rental.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lathrop, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
