About The Position

Weekly Pay $56.67 / hour - Physical Therapist Weekend Coverage at Dignity Health Rehab Hospital

  • Provide weekend physical therapy coverage on a flexible, per diem or contract basis.
  • Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery to improve physical function and independence.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations.
  • Promote safe mobility, strength, and functional independence for patients.
  • May be required to float to additional facility locations (e.g., Chandler, AZ).
  • Must meet all facility credentialing and compliance requirements.
  • Requires an active Arizona PT license and current BLS certification.
  • Preferred : Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care experience.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills essential.
  • Flexible scheduling; no guaranteed or minimum hours.
