Overview
The Home Health Aide delivers quality home health care services to the Agency’s clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations. This position will travel throughout Montgomery County.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do :
Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobilityEngages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistanceResponds to all resident needs and / or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessaryObserves residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurseCompletes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely mannerPrepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feedingMakes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as neededQualifications
Current CNA license in good standingMaryland Home Health Aide licenseCPR CertificateHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also preferred#MP123
