  • Location : Baltimore, MD 21239 (Maryland nursing jobs)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel nurse contract)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts / week\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Start Date : November 25, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 24, 2026\n
  • Setting : Adult ICU (17 beds, average census 12)\n
  • Float : Required (float RN jobs)\n
  • Weekend Coverage : Every third weekend\n
  • Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / CCU RN experience (critical care nursing)\n
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required for Baltimore healthcare jobs)\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all required for ICU nurse jobs)\n
  • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred\n
  • Two (2) supervisor references required\n
  • Willingness to float to other units as needed\n
  • Ability to work every third weekend\n
  • Local candidates accepted within 60 miles (at local rate)\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment\n
  • Administer medications, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and respond to emergencies\n
  • Assist with procedures : chest tube insertion / removal, arterial and central line management, ventilator management\n
  • Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and manage multi-system organ failure\n
  • Care for patients with complex diagnoses (cardiac arrest, DKA, sepsis, and more)\n
  • Utilize advanced ICU equipment (CRRT, Arctic Sun, ICP monitors)\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response)\n
  • Maintain infection prevention protocols and adhere to isolation precautions\n
