GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Education Specialist will provide case management and supportive services for the Adolfo Transitional Housing program in order to help participants start, and continue their education goals. This position will work with participants who are seeking vocational training, mentorship, leadership development, and / or educational programs (i.e. GED, tutoring assistance), as well as interfacing with schools and other service providers. This position is committed to improving the quality of services provided by seeking input from participants, employees and stakeholders to ensure service delivery and accessibility is equitable to all persons served. The Education Specialist is a full time, non-exempt position eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance; 403(b) retirement plan; paid holidays, Vacation and Sick time. This position is employed by Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley and Northern Nevada, Inc., through Next Move Homeless Services.
