Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Operating Room RN

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR) – 19 suites, advanced surgical technology

Location : Concord, North Carolina (28025)

Start Date : October 13, 2025

End Date : January 10, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)

Weekend Rotation : Every 4th weekend (call or scheduled shift)

Call Requirement : 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule; 45-minute response time

Holiday Coverage : 75% of holidays

Scrub Color : Provided

Parking : Free onsite parking

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)

BLS certification required

CNOR certification preferred

Clinical proficiency in circulating trauma, ortho trauma, total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, GYN, robotics, general, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics cases

Strong teamwork, flexibility, and self-motivation

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment and accommodate case requests

First-time travel nurses not accepted

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Circulate and assist in diverse surgical procedures : trauma, ortho, cardiac, robotics, and more

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Maintain strict safety and infection control standards

Respond promptly to call shifts (within 45 minutes)

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations

Engage in ongoing nursing education and departmental onboarding (2 days)

Foster a positive and supportive operating room culture
