About the Position :

Our client, a full-service boutique law firm in Chicago, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer with 10+ years of experience to join as an income partner. Attorneys in this firm’s corporate practice handle a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, financing, commercial contracts, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. Some portable business is required.

Responsibilities :

Handle a range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including M&A, entity formations, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, finance transactions, and other general corporate matters

Draft and negotiate commercial contracts

Provide advice and counsel to large, midsize and small businesses and individuals from a wide variety of industries

Required Qualifications :

10 or more years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A

Some portable business required

Experience with fundraising docs is a plus

Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation :

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000+, plus a strong origination bonus structure.
