Opportunity : Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details :

• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM
• May work until 5 : 00 PM or later based on high census and case load
• No call required during the week, weekend call only if needed
• Float to other departments based on staff and census needs
• Perform wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and / or at other campuses as required
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving system
• Observe radiation, personnel, and patient safety measures
• Maintain radiation safety protocol while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• Required : Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology
• Required : Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB
• Required : Texas State Licensure - MRT by TMB
• Required : BLS certification (AHA only)
• Preferred : 1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting
