Job Description
We are currently looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Solution Architect to join our team. The architect will work with our federal customers, design and develop leading-edge enterprise solutions. The architect will analyze customers’ business processes, system portfolio, as well as technical environments. The architect is responsible for conceptualizing and designing technology-based solutions to solve complex business challenges. The architect will work closely with and guide the technical teams to implement the solutions.
Qualified candidates must be a USC, GC or EAD and have or can attain a Public Trust clearance.
Job Requirements
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and development teams and conduct technology assessments to identify operational limitations and gaps in functional coverage.
- Lead the design of multi-discipline system solution architecture that meets business and technical requirements. Setup program technical standards, guidelines, and reference implementation.
- Consult with executive-stakeholders to define business needs or problems. Analyze problems to advise or recommend solutions.
- Conduct market research and Proof-of-Concepts on leading-edge technologies and vendor products.
- Deliver an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure designs meeting clients’ business needs.
- Produce architecture artifacts such as overall architecture diagram, system component diagram, sequence diagram, database schema diagram, and required technical documents following customer's SDLC process.
- Liaise with software development team and provide hands-on experience to implement the architecture design.
- Architect, design, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
- Provide technical supervision and advisory to development teams. Coach junior technical staff members.
- Represent the program, present the solution architecture and technical implementation to broader customer business and IT community. Participate in cross-program IT governance committee.
- Accountable for overall program technology implementation.
Qualifications
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills.Prior experience creating and presenting architectural diagrams to the customer.Deep understanding and working experience in software development lifecycle and services delivery.Strong hands-on full-stack application development experience is a must.Strong experience with Angular, WebLogic, Webflow and Primefaces JSFStrong experience in implementation of JAVA / JEE web applicationsDemonstrated experience in Cloud, Services and DevOps application design, development and deployment guidelines and standards.Excellent solution architecture expertise in UI, middleware, database, security, and infrastructure.Strong design and implementation knowledge of middleware / interface technologies & methods (API, ETL, ESB).Broad IT industry knowledge, deep expertise in at least 3 or more technical areas : user experience, Microservices, Cloud-native SaaS or PaaS applications, Robotic Process Automation, AI / ML applications, Access and Identity Management, high availability infrastructure, DevSecOps, etc.Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with 20+ years of professional experience; or 10+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
