About The Position

Experience : 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU required

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required

Must-Have :

• Experience in arterial line management
• Experience with the management of BiPAP and CPAP
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Use of isolation precautions and PPE
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Ventilator management
• Computerized documentation

Description :

The position is for an experienced registered nurse in the ICU.

Nurses will work 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM.

Every other weekend is required, with a maximum of 2 weekends per month.

No time off is allowed on holidays or the days before or after holidays.

Registered nurses may be required to float to other units as needed.

ICU nurses will float between various ICU units.

They may also float to medical-surgical units if staffing needs arise.

Orientation will take place on day shift with precepting.

Candidates must demonstrate experience with managing critically ill patients.

Registered nurses will assist with clinical procedures and care delivery in the ICU.

Maintaining high-quality patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team is essential.

Nurses must comply with all facility policies regarding time off and scheduling.
