Job Details

We are seeking a litigation associate with 2+ years of experience to join a dynamic team handling a broad range of commercial and probate litigation matters in New York courts, including Surrogate’s Court. This role offers hands-on exposure to complex disputes, including construction litigation, fiduciary matters, and estate-related controversies.

You’ll work closely with experienced partners on high-impact cases, gaining courtroom experience and contributing meaningfully to litigation strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Support litigation matters in New York State courts, including Surrogate’s Court.

Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

Conduct legal research and analysis, particularly under the CPLR.

Assist with construction litigation, probate disputes, and general commercial matters.

Participate in hearings, depositions, and client meetings.

Collaborate with partners on case strategy and development.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in New York courts.

Familiarity with the New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR).

Experience or strong interest in probate and construction litigation.

Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
