About the Role

The Engineering Manager leads the Clinical Core team and owns the core clinical workflows, including AI documentation tools, used by our care teams every day. This team is at the heart of how Charlie Health delivers care, meaning your work will directly shape the experience of thousands of clients and clinicians. The role combines delivery, process, and talent management with technical decision-making, balancing the reliability of our systems with building new features that enable the best possible care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Clinical Core engineering team, driving delivery and continuous improvement of team processes
• Own and ensure reliability of core clinical workflows, including AI-powered documentation assistance used by care teams
• Partner with Product to define priorities and deliver new features that enable the highest quality of care
• Provide technical leadership, making key architectural and implementation decisions
• Develop, coach, and support the growth of engineers on the team
• Attract and retain top engineering talent, building a high-performing and collaborative team
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration
• Drive quarterly planning in partnership with Product and other stakeholders

Charlie Health is pleased to offer comprehensive benefits to all full-time, exempt employees. Read more about our benefits here.The total target base compensation for this role will be between $200,000 and $248,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role also offers a performance bonus. The expected total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $220,000 and $273,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #
