The Industrial Engineer is responsible for leading efforts for sustaining 5S, visual management, process flow, and facilitating Continuous Improvement efforts.

Key Tasks

• Supports CI activities

Directly facilitate and participate in ongoing process improvements using techniques such as Kaizen, 5S, lean tools, and engineering change orders. Establish metrics to monitor improvements (time, money, etc.) as compared to the original process. Explore AI solutions to improve efficiency and quality in manufacturing processes. Actively monitor project risk to foresee and identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions. Work with the leadership team to develop and deliver training on each new project.

Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery, track KPIs, and ensure improvements can be made for future projects.

Partner with the operations team to develop effective training tools and resources specific to continuous improvement initiatives. Work with various department stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change.

Partner with team members to develop new support materials based on revised processes; to include training, reporting and system enhancements.

Participate in cross-training efforts as required; keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements : quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

Your Background

Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering from college or university, or an Associate\'s Degree from college or trade school with a minimum of four years related experience. Other qualifications or experiences.
