Linux Administrator with Security Clearance

The Systems Engineering team is seeking a driven Senior Systems Administrator that is highly technical and mission focused, operating as a Tier 3 level Linux Administrator, experienced in managing large amounts of data and storage at sites around the world.

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of multiple RHEL servers, attached storage, and the networks they utilize
• Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Implement, troubleshoot and maintain IT systems remotely
• Document the management of system infrastructure and related processes
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for server / storage devices
• Work within existing ticket management practices to escalate and communicate status to the customer and program
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple contracts to produce security and engineering artifacts that span technical, physical, and logical system scope
• Interface with subject matter experts from across several contracts and service lanes to support and document systems environments
• Provide On-Call support on a rotational, as-needed basis
• Travel for installations, repair and disaster recovery as required
