What you will experience :

  • Project Engagement : Work directly on actual projects, gaining practical experience beyond what you learn in the classroom.
  • Site Visits : Join site visits and observations for firsthand exposure to construction methods and progress.

    • Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Most duties are performed in an office setting, requiring extended periods of sitting at a desk or computer.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 15 lbs may be required.
  • Field observations and site visits may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or traversing uneven ground.

    • Position Details and Compensation

    This is a temporary, non-exempt position. Overtime is compensated at one-and-a-half times the hourly rate. The salary is competitive and based on experience, education, location, and skillset; qualified candidates can expect a pay range of $26–$35 per hour.

    Qualifications

  • What we are looking for :
  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with a focus on vertical structures.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Basic understanding of the fundamentals of structural engineering, including free body diagrams and P / V / M diagrams, coding, and mechanics of materials.
