Job Title : Telepractice Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Introduction :

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech services in a K-12 educational setting in Oklahoma City, OK. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about enhancing student munication skills while utilizing innovative telepractice methods.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders among students in grades K-12.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services through a telehealth platform, ensuring engaging and effective sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to support their goals.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in pliance with educational and health standards.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding speech and language development.
  • Stay informed about best practices and developments in teletherapy techniques and tools.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a virtual setting.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and families.
  • Proficient in using technology for teletherapy sessions.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while providing high-quality care.
