In this role, you'll be a vital part of our treatment team, providing therapy and collaborating with clinicians, counselors, and support staff to deliver the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's strengths, needs, and goals.
- Conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and timely follow-ups.
- Monitor client progress and ensure care aligns with professional standards.
- Collaborate with nursing, operations, and clinical leadership to coordinate care.
- Provide in-service education and contribute to program quality improvements.
- Offer intervention and support for clients experiencing mental health or substance use crises.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic health record system.
What We're Looking For
Master's degree in mental health counseling, family counseling, or social work.Active Iowa license (temporary licenses accepted with existing clinical supervision).Minimum 2 years' experience in the mental health field preferred.EMDR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).Strong communication skills, compassion, and ability to maintain professional boundaries.Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality laws, and ethical standards.Why You'll Love Working Here
