Cath Lab Tech PRN

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible and accountable for assisting the physician with cardiac catheterizations as well as vascular procedures, permanent pacemakers, and interventions. Perform emergent procedures associated with Cardiac Cath such as IABP and temporary pacemaker insertions. Must have knowledge of radiation safety and use of Cath lab imaging equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years in Radiology
• 3-6 months in Cath Lab preferred.
• ARRT Registry or other Nationally recognized registration in radiology
• Louisiana Licensure
• BLS required.
• Call required.
