About The Position

Job Title : ED Hold / PCU Float Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2 years of PCU experience required

License : Current FL / Compact nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS required

Must-Have : Flexibility to float to sister campuses

Description :

This position requires 2 years of PCU experience.

ED experience is not required as there will be no floating to the ED.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-6 : 1 depending on patient mix.

Galaxy blue scrubs are to be worn.

The population served includes adults and geriatrics.

Experience with Epic EMR is required.

Nurses must be flexible with floating as required and may float to sister campuses.

Degree accreditation must be included in the profile.

Recent Nursys verification must be on file.

A culture of teamwork is very important.

Travelers are welcomed and are expected to function as core staff members do.

All requests for time off or schedule changes must be submitted upfront.

No late submissions will be accepted for documentation requirements.
