Job Title : Foreman

Location : Atlanta, GA; Cincinnati, OH

Our client is a leading asphalt and parking lot maintenance company, specializing in services such as infrared pavement patching, pothole repair, sealcoating, striping, stamped asphalt, concrete services, ADA compliance, emergency repairs, and more.

Job Summary

The Foreman / Superintendent will oversee daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards. They will lead crews performing asphalt and concrete repair work, coordinate with management, and maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and coordinate field crews (asphalt patching, sealcoating, striping, concrete, utility cut repairs, etc.).

Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Read and interpret project drawings, scope documents, and specifications.

Plan and schedule daily work assignments, track progress, and adjust plans as needed.

Manage materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. Ensure equipment is maintained and safely operated.

Act as point of contact between management, clients, and subcontractors in the field.

Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and contract requirements.

Monitor time, labor, and resource usage to stay within budget.

Report daily progress, challenges, and site issues to Project Manager.

Enforce company policies on safety, environment, and quality.

Train and mentor junior crew members as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

3-5 years of experience as Foreman / Superintendent in asphalt / concrete / parking lot maintenance, or similar field.

Knowledge of asphalt and concrete repair techniques (infrared patching, utility cut repairs etc.).

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to read plans and basic construction documents.

Solid understanding of safety best practices and job-site safety.

Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience managing multiple projects concurrently.

Ability to liaise with clients and manage expectations.

Working Conditions

Primarily field work, often outdoors.

Occasional overtime depending on project deadlines or emergencies.

Travel between sites may be required.
