HYBRID AZURE CLOUD SYSTEMS ENGINEER With Database Administration Experience

Six month, W2 (ONLY) Contract - No C2C, Sponsorship, or 3rd party

Mostly remote : On-site ONE day per week - Los Angeles or San Francisco

Job Description :

The Hybrid Cloud Systems Engineer will provide comprehensive professional services in support of planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization of its hybrid cloud infrastructure.

The role requires a strategic and hands-on expert to evaluate the current environment, recommend architectural improvements, implement solutions, and embed FinOps best practices to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.

The engineer will support existing platforms, including Database administration, Azure VMware Solution (AVS), Azure App Services, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) with Nerdio, and manage legacy infrastructure during transitions to cloud-native solutions.

The engineer will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and knowledge transfer stakeholders to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the implemented solutions. The scope of services encompasses infrastructure modernization, security integration, cost optimization, and operational excellence, all in alignment with enterprise IT and security strategies.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD$55 / Hr - USD $65 / Hr. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location. We also offer comprehensive benefits.
