TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a contingent Sr. Systems Engineer to support a Program Executive Office Ships (PEO Ships) Combatant Shipbuilding Acquisition Program Office. This is a full-time remote work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, develop, integrate, and manage scheduling activities.
- Prepare and analyze schedules and reports.
- Perform schedule update procedures, recovery plans and “what-if” schedules as required. Establish and monitor execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.
- Develop and manage a program’s and / or project’s schedule that communicates to all levels of the project team and stakeholders effectively.
- Perform IMS critical path, schedule slack, and task predecessor / successor networking analyses.
- Perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 10 years of experience in Navy DoD Weapons / Defense Systems.Master's degree in Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience in Navy DoD Weapons / Defense Systems.Experience in Navy DoD, Weapon Systems DoD / DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process, Middle Tier Acquisition process).Professional Engineer License is preferred.Must be a United States citizen.Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.Benefits
