Electrician

We are seeking an Electrician for assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The selected candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems in central utility and water / wastewater treatment plants.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on a wide range of industrial equipment
• Install, maintain and remove electrical conductors, raceways and equipment such as motors, transformers, switchboards, HVAC units and lighting systems
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and schematics
• Follow detailed switching procedures and coordinate power outages involving medium voltage switchgear and 15KV circuit breakers
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, ATS and instrumentation wiring
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts and platform lifts
• Maintain accurate service reports, deficiency logs and work orders
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA standards and Lock OutTag Out procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to internal clients and collaborate effectively with team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
