The Associate frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk and / or hear. The Associate is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. The Associate must occasionally lift and / or move up to 40 pounds. Associates at all levels must maintain their Roles and Responsibilities as outlined within SRK-OH's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO9001 and ISO 14001. These industry standards are necessary to ensure continued Customer Satisfaction in relationship with our philosophy of Continuous Quality Improvement High School Degree or GED or equivalent training and / or experience Ability to work in a team environment
General Purpose
Maintenance Associates report to the Maintenance Team Leader on their respective shift. Responsible for maintaining and improving necessary production related equipment.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot and repair any machine maintenance problems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronics
- Assist in training and development of associates
- Maintain plant mechanical controls
- Construct and maintain necessary production related equipment
- Maintain maintenance work area
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain good 5S
- Work with production engineering to improve production processes
- Any other duties as requested
