Eligibility to obtain security clearance. Experience with antenna design for aerospace, defense, or other harsh environments. Strong technical communication skills (written and oral). Solid understanding of "signals and systems" and digital communications. Familiarity with hardware components and related limitations. Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and workflows. Passion for innovation in a dynamic environment. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance). Ability to pass drug screening and background check. Mid-Senior level Contract
Overview
EVONA have partnered with a leading provider of highly engineered solutions in the aerospace and defense sector, focusing on antennas, thermal management, and mission-critical technologies. They are looking for a Payload Systems Architect, who will be responsible for collaborating with customers to define payload requirements and leading a team of engineers to deliver innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural trade studies, establishing system and unit-level requirements through analysis and simulation.
- Collaborate with technical design teams to achieve project goals.
- Ensure proper allocation, traceability, and verification of requirements across the lifecycle of programs.
- Support requirements verification and integration & test (I&T) activities.
- Prepare for and deliver design gate reviews.
- Work with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop requirements, analysis, and verification artifacts.
- Contribute to continual product development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
