  • Shift : Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)\n

  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1930 - $2070\n
  • Facility Setting : Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center\n
  • Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n
  • Charting System : Epic\n
  • Parking : Free on-site parking\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Washington or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Stepdown RN or Neuro Stepdown RN\n
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required)\n
  • Neuro nursing experience required\n
  • Ability to float between nursing units as needed\n
  • Willingness to work every other weekend\n
  • References : At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable clinical setting\n

    • \n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver direct patient care in Cardiac Stepdown and Neuro Stepdown units\n
  • Monitor and manage patients with chest tubes, craniotomies, CVA, external CPAP / BIPAP, and spinal cord injuries\n
  • Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring\n
  • Care for pre- and post-neurosurgery patients, including those with traumatic brain injuries\n
  • Administer and monitor procedural sedation\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services\n
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation using Epic EMR\n
  • Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care needs\n
  • Complete orientation and all required modules prior to assignment start\n
