Pay Information

$1,500 to $1,600 per day

About The Position

Type : 1099

Position : Locums

Location : Paducah, KY

Pay rate : 24 hr on Call - $1600 / day, Call Back : $360 / hr

Practice Setting : Hospital / Call

OPEN DATES :

  • 11 / 6-11 / 10
  • 11 / 24-12 / 1
  • 12 / 8-12 / 15

Job Details :

  • Reason for Coverage : Short staffed
  • Total Number of Beds :  17 beds - 12 postpartum, 5 birthing suites
  • No Other OB / GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates
  • Onsite Labs & Ultrasound
  • Office Equipment :   Hospital Labor and Delivery
  • Low volume of C-section patients
  • Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day : Varies. Usually under 10
  • Delivery volume :  746 total deliveries last year
  • Nursery Level :   II
  • Documentation System / EMR :   Epic
  • Midwives will take call and deliver own patients

    • Required Procedures / Duties :

  • Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps
  • Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc
  • VBAC’s
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Board Certified –  REQUIRED
  • Active KY License –  REQUIRED (Exceptions for active IMLC)
  • BLS Certified –  REQUIRED
  • Active DEA  –  REQUIRED
  • COVID Vaccinated –  Preferred
  • Must be able to cover any of the dates listed above – REQUIRED, no exception

    • Note : All Travel, Lodging, Car Rental or Mileage Coverage & Malpractice with Tails are covered!
