Offer Description

This PhD program primarily involves students with special needs in the areas of music education and music therapy, although it is open to other fields given the transdisciplinary nature of music. It is designed to address issues of integration and inclusion through perspectives inherent in Music and Instrument Education and Music Therapy applied to the multiple areas of intervention in the educational context. Doctoral students can focus their research on disabilities, specific developmental and / or learning disabilities, socio-cultural hardship, and the neurodiversity of giftedness—treating it using the methodologies deemed most appropriate for their project—as well as on music teaching methodologies and music therapy in an educational context.

• Covers other costs : The scholarship amount is increased by a maximum of 50%, for a period not exceeding 12 (twelve) months, not necessarily consecutive, but lasting at least one month, for study and research activities abroad. The doctoral student is also entitled to an additional budget equal to at least 10% of the scholarship amount to support research activities, for each of the three years.
