Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor and consultant to plant leadership and frontline supervisors. This role focuses on driving business outcomes through effective people strategies, employee relations, and workforce development across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with plant managers and department leaders to understand operational goals and align HR strategies to support business objectives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Support performance management processes, including coaching leaders on documentation, feedback, and development plans.
- Monitor workforce trends, turnover, and engagement; recommend proactive solutions to support retention and morale.
- Partner with HR and Safety teams on onboarding, compliance, and training initiatives.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting a culture of respect and belonging.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Safety, Benefits) to support the full employee lifecycle.
- Support organizational change initiatives and lead HR-related communication and rollout plans.
- Maintain visibility on the plant floor and serve as a trusted resource for employees.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.3+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of employment law, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.Ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, or similar).Preferred Qualifications
PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification.Experience supporting multi-site or 24 / 7 operations.Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.Additional Details
