Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for correctional facility builds.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor to ensure efficient project progression.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project schedules and work with the project manager to adjust timelines as necessary.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are available to meet project needs.
  • Track progress and report project status, including any delays or changes, to the project manager.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of previous experience working with a General Contractor
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus
  • Prior experience in building correctional facilities
  • Must have experience running projects from start to finish
  • Strong software and technology skills is a plus
  • Able to communicate and be organized
  • Time Management Skills - making sure everything is on time and completed thoroughly
  • Experience managing teams is a plus
  • Up to date on the Construction Market and the newest technology
