Truck Driver (Non-CDL) / Warehouse Specialist

The Truck Driver / Warehouse Specialist is a cross functional position that will require individual to move materials, supplies and equipment between company locations (a CDL license is not required; only a valid standard Driver's License). This position will also require the individual to work in warehouses. Willingly participate in all work-related programs and contribute to continuous improvement programs and perform any duties assigned by management. Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• The timely movement of all materials, supplies and equipment between locations in a 26-foot box truck.
• Warehouse duties as assigned by Materials Handling Supervisor / Manager.
• Maintain Daily driver logs.
• Daily truck and trailer inspection.
• Responsible for keeping truck / trailers clean.
• Entry of all material movement activity in computer system in a timely manner when required.
• May be required to perform customer / supplier pickup and delivery.
• Maintain appropriate and professional written and verbal communication.
• Ensure that food safety, legality, integrity and quality standards are maintained at all times.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
• Shift start hours may vary weekly and weekends may be necessary dependent on workload.
• Overtime may be required.
• Regular attendance for scheduled shifts is a requirement of this position.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications :

Experience & Education : A valid standard (non-CDL) Driver's License required. A minimum of 18 months combination of driving experience required. 2 Years' warehouse experience required.
