Job Title : Journeymen Electrician

Salary : $36.00-$42.00 / hou r

Shift : 1 st Shift, 7 : 0 0am - 3 : 0 0pm M-F

Summar y : Based in Madison, we are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician to oversee and lead project teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electrical projects, assigning tasks to ensure project completion to the highest standards of accuracy and safety, and must have excellent communication skills. Job Responsibilities :

  • M anage electrical projects, delegate tasks to ensure projects are completed accurately and safely .
  • Manage and guide teams comprising 2-5 electricians.
  • Interpret blueprints for job site planning and execution.
  • Design and plan job layouts for projects ranging in complexity and size.
  • Plan necessary equipment, procedures, and training.
  • Execute the installation and layout of conduit systems, diverse lighting systems, and fundamental control system feeders.
  • Install motor feeders and establish standard motor connections.
  • Perform field designs and surveys as required.
  • Respond to service calls, efficiently diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
  • Uphold and promote job site safety protocols.
  • Ensure a secure job site environment, and adhere strictly to OSHA standards, company policies, and specific customer safety guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Our employees may travel within our service area but return home each evening.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record at creative problem solving
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Fluent (verbal and written) in English
  • Journeyman's License
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
