About The Position
Pediatric Opportunity in SW Louisiana
Join a respected regional health system where your outpatient pediatric expertise can make a meaningful difference in a close-knit community. This opportunity offers excellent stability, a steady referral base, and the chance to help shape a growing clinic presence. The position is outpatient-focused, with minimal nursery call and flexible involvement in inpatient care.
Practice Overview
- You'll join a team with one pediatrician, one pediatric NP, and rotating specialists in a shared outpatient clinic
- 100% outpatient care with no inpatient responsibilities unless desired
- Nursery call one weekend per month, including occasional ER consults and rare deliveries
- Primary clinic site will be a new facility opening in late spring, unless filled sooner
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM with one weekend nursery call per monthNo night shifts or hospital rounding unless preferredAverage daily volume 20-25 / dayFull-spectrum pediatric care from newborns through age 17Compensation & Benefits
