Sr. Digital Filmmaking and Video Production Instructor
Step into the dynamic and rewarding role of a Senior Digital Film and Video Production Instructor at F.I.R.S.T. Institute, where you can share your passion and expertise with aspiring film and video professionals. While teaching experience is preferred, it is not a requirement; we seek an experienced film and video production professional to join our education team as a full-time instructor. The ideal candidate will have experience in narrative film production, live video production, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, as your primary focus is instructing the next generation of video and film professionals.
Responsibilities
- Teaching film and video production and post-production concepts in a dynamic, engaging format
- Inspiring and supporting students with a hands-on and active approach as they progress through the courses
- Teaching practical hands-on methods for using cameras, grip and lighting equipment, and production audio hardware
- Focusing on student creativity to achieve high-quality results with both group and independent video projects
- Fine-tuning the curriculum as directed and contributing to the creation of engaging lesson plans
- Creating a safe, supportive, creative, and dynamic environment for students
