JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager, Communications is responsible for executing internal and external Universal Creative communications, leading written materials delivering consistent messaging company-wide. Responsible for drafting and securing approval of executive-level communications, presentations, talking points and decks, partnering with internal and external groups as needed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Internal Communications : Manage internal communications content and support overall strategy by writing key messages relevant to all Universal Creative Team Members globally.
- Internal Communications responsibilities include :
Manage content development, scheduling, and distribution of the Creative News in each location.
Assist projects and departments in development and publication of specific team news and executive publications.Support all communications-related internal events.Analyze benchmark data and criteria that measure effectiveness of communications initiatives.Executive Communications : Prepare, review and distribute executive messaging for the Senior leadership team, both internally and externally.Executive Communications responsibilities include :Presentations : Liaise and design executive-level presentations for Vice Presidents and higher.
Coach executives on talking points used for internal and external audiences.External Communications : Support all external communications, including executive and Team Member speaking engagements, PR activities, recruiting events, content creation, and more.External Communications responsibilities include :Manage relationships between Universal Creative and UPR stakeholders.
Assist in managing communication support to partnerships such as universities, industry organizations and sponsorship opportunities.Support industry and appropriate award submissions through content creation and UC representation.Planning : Support Executive comms planning and project-based communications calendars.Planning responsibilities include :Oversee consistent capturing and socializing of key project milestones, communications beats and UC TM activity within Corp Comms teams and to UC SLT.
Guide the Universal Creative content production planning process.Performs other duties as assigned.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field or experience. 2 years experience working in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Advertising preferred.
