Current Salary is $19.18 per hour. Newscast interns learn the skills to become General Assignment (GA) reporters.
They are sent into the field to cover local news stories and get to interview community members, elected officials and experts on the major Bay Area developments of the day.
They learn how to write concise and important stories for a large audience, handle daily deadlines and pitch ideas that can turn into strong pieces of newscast content. We are looking for a diverse set of candidates from around the region for this position.
