Estimator - Heavy Civil

We are a trusted name in heavy civil construction for over 80 years, and are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. With a legacy of integrity, innovation, and excellence, we deliver infrastructure solutions across highways, subdivisions, airports, and commercial developments throughout Central California and the Sierra Nevada.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing detailed cost estimates for public and private sector heavy civil projects.
Analyzing plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate bids.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure competitive and comprehensive proposals.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk factors.
Participating in bid reviews and presentations.

Qualifications

Proven experience estimating heavy civil construction projects (earthwork, paving, grading, utilities, etc.).

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., HCSS, Bid2Win, or similar).

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
