Bartender

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages so that servers can deliver the best drink possible
• Work the service bar in a friendly and efficient manner. Ensure all drink orders have been rung in
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food / beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment
• Inform guests of specials and / or promotions, answer questions and make suggestions when asked
• Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance dining experience
• Address guest concerns and inform manager
• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
• Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area
• Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every Guest
• Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist Guests and Team Members
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
