Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java API Microservices Lead to join our technology team in Charlotte, NC . In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices-based applications and APIs using modern Java frameworks. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that are secure, high-performing, and cloud-ready.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ , Spring Boot , Spring Cloud , and RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and domain-driven design (DDD) .
• Experience with API gateways , service mesh , and OAuth2 / OpenID Connect .
• Strong knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and asynchronous processing .
• Proficiency with SQL / NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA , Git , Jenkins , and Docker .
• Strong understanding of unit testing , integration testing , and TDD / BDD .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
