As a Security Officer - DoD Secret Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and assisting with security-related inquiries. Pay Rate : $23.16 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with appropriate personnel.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents observed at the front desk to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff with security-related needs and inquiries as they arise at the front desk.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
