American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a KY or compact RN license, 4+ years of OR and trauma experience, and Level 2 trauma exposure.\nResponsibilities

Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting\nDay shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 30\nCandidates will be expected to circulate a variety of surgical cases\nLevel 2 trauma experience is required; Level 1 trauma experience is preferred\nCandidates may float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals as needed\nOn-call required : Weekday on-call from 8PM–6AM; weekend on-call divided into 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM shifts\nPACU call team responsibilities may involve recovery of designated patients in main PACU\nCandidates are expected to be well-rounded and able to handle a range of operating room cases\nReturn staff must have been gone for at least 90 days to be eligible as a traveler\nModules averaging 6.5 hours are completed during orientation and annually\nOn-call response time is 1 hour\nHoliday and weekend coverage may be required during scheduled rotation\nFirst-time travelers are accepted as long as they meet the experience requirements\nRequests for time off must be submitted at the time of consideration\nRequirements

Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration\nMinimum of 4 years recent Operating Room RN experience required\nTrauma experience required\nLevel 2 trauma experience is mandatory; Level 1 trauma experience is strongly preferred\nCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required\nNo acceptance of candidates with local residence within 75 miles\nCandidates must not have licensure hits\nPrevious employment at the facility must be disclosed for eligibility\nOne reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required\nBenefits
