Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit with a Level One nursery Care for approximately 325 deliveries per year following AWHONN Guidelines Night shift schedule : 4x12 hour shifts, 19 : 00-07 : 15 Weekend work required every other weekend On-call duties required as needed Uses Paragon / Allscripts for acute care documentation Floating within the hospital may be required First-time travelers are accepted for this position Staff are required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed Candidates cannot reside within a 60 mile radius of the facility Returning travelers may not work more than one year without a one year break If multiple holidays occur during the assignment, only one holiday RTO will be accepted Modules and orientation are provided and must be completed as part of onboarding COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment Requirements Active MI RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA) AWHONN Intermediate and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certifications preferred Ability to perform Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilize AIDET, and conduct hourly rounding Fingerprinting required for MI placements Two references required, with at least one from a supervisor Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620642.
