Dietary Aide

Part time / EOW

Company Description : Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Waterbury, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Dietary Aide. Come join our team!

Responsibilities :

Providing dining service to residents, guests, family members and employees as needed.
Prepare trays and serves food according to menus and following diet orders.
Assists in maintaining clean and properly sanitized production and retail areas.
Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators / freezers, etc.
Sweep and mop floors as directed

Requirements :

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education. Must have "Serve Safe of Sanitation" certification.

Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.

Be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.

Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
