The Centers seeks 3 Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Counselors to support our growing teams. The first Substance Use Disorder Counselor is a member of our SUD Team and will provide confidential counseling, education, and support to individuals and families experiencing substance use disorders, and for promoting health lifestyles and healthy choices to individuals, families, and the community. The other Substance Use Disorder Counselor is a member of our new CCBHC Team and will provide integrated dual diagnosis disorder treatment to clients who have substance use concerns. The SUD Counselor is responsible for providing confidential counseling, education, and support to individuals and families experiencing substance use disorders, and for promoting health lifestyles and healthy choices to individuals, families, and the community. Provide a range of prevention, assessment, and intervention services. Provide training and consultation to team members on problems, assessments, and recommendations for clients. Use IDDT treatment and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

Physical Demands / Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and the community. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. It requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
