Job Summary : This is an Operation Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Refunds and Revenue Accounting Process, Account Services Unit. The incumbent processes warrant cancellations in FLAIR, maintains an accurate tracking log, forwards warrant cancellation forms to the Department of Financial Services (DFS) and / or a Computer Audit Analyst, reviews and verifies cancellation comments in SUNTAX, scans and maintains completed warrant cancellation forms in the internal database, and verifies customer account information in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX). The incumbent also processes and reconciles vouchers and backups financial worksheets in FLAIR for accuracy, supports the vouching process, and other related processes and associated agencies. Additionally, the incumbent serves as team lead, supporting the operational goals of the process by identifying areas for improvement and recommending and implementing process enhancements.

Minimum Requirements : Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. Three years of administrative, secretarial, clerical, or financial experience. Three years of experience reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. One year of customer service experience.

  • College education may substitute on a year-to-year basis for the required three years of administrative, secretarial, clerical, or financial experience.

Preferences : Experience working in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX). Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Special Notes : Documentation of education requirements must be submitted at time of application to proceed to the interview. Failure to provide education requirements could result in removal from further consideration. This position is not eligible for telework.

Salary : The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,821.06 monthly / $45,852.76 annually.
